Website information and your enquiry
The website describes pest services and helps you prepare an enquiry. It does not diagnose a particular property from a general description, an unexplained noise or a skin reaction. Give the actual observation, its location and relevant access details so an assessment can be discussed. Do not use general text as instructions to disconnect equipment, alter building services or apply a treatment product. The appropriate method and precautions depend on the premises and findings.
Provide accurate contact and property details and correct any error you discover. You do not need to identify the species before calling. Explain what is observed and what is only suspected. Website availability can be affected by technical maintenance, so use the telephone number when you need to discuss an urgent appointment. A request for today is an enquiry until the appointment, access and any necessary preparation have been confirmed. A general statement about emergency availability is not an agreed arrival time.
The provider arrangement and booking confirmation
1ST & GREEN LIMITED acts as an introductory agent for service providers. We receive the enquiry, allocate an available provider and email the booking information with the applicable service terms. The service contract is between you and the named provider when you accept the service terms and confirmation through the supplied acceptance process. The provider is responsible for carrying out that agreed service. We remain a booking contact and process non-cash payments on the provider’s behalf.
Check the provider’s name, property, appointment and requested service in the confirmation. If somebody books for a business or another occupier, their authority should be clear. A person who can open a communal door may not be able to authorise work inside each unit. Keep the confirmation and accepted terms. Those records let a later question be considered against the actual agreement, rather than a remembered conversation about a different possible service.

Agreeing the service, quote and preparation
Before accepting work, check which areas are included and whether the arrangement covers assessment, treatment, monitoring, proofing or return visits. A pest appointment does not automatically include structural, electrical, plumbing or drainage repairs. If additional work is proposed after inspection, establish its purpose, price and authority before approving it. Ask for any important limit to be recorded, including a room or service space that cannot safely be examined.
Preparation must match the agreed method. Discuss children, pets, room use, heat-sensitive belongings and any difficulty following an instruction. Do not transfer unexamined belongings into another household to clear space. Tell the provider about previous products or devices and relevant repairs. If a landlord or manager must approve access, arrange that before attendance. Where a guarantee forms part of an offer, read its written conditions, exclusions and reporting requirements. An unrelated online promise does not extend the scope of your booking.
Payment, changes and cancellation questions
The confirmation and service terms set out the agreed price, payment method and any applicable change or cancellation arrangements. Check the total and the work it covers before accepting. Do not assume an inspection price includes every treatment or repair that may subsequently be recommended. If the proposed scope changes, obtain the revised arrangement so you can decide whether to accept it. Use the authorised payment route and do not email full card information.
Contact the booking point promptly if the property becomes unavailable, timing changes or preparation cannot be completed. Explain the specific change and ask whether the appointment needs revising. Applicable consumer rights continue to apply, including cancellation protections where relevant. Request the cancellation information supplied for your actual contract before agreeing that work should begin during any cancellation period. Urgency does not itself remove statutory rights. Charges and acknowledgements must be assessed under the relevant agreement and law rather than inferred from a general website description.

Instructions, follow-up and concerns about the service
Keep the provider’s instructions available to the people using the affected space. Follow the stated access and re-entry precautions and ask about anything unclear. Do not move installed devices, disturb treatment locations or add unrelated products without discussing the effect on the programme. Where observations are requested, record their dates and exact locations, separating fresh signs from older material already documented. Explain subsequent furniture movement or building work that may affect the review.
For a concern, contact us with the booking reference, appointment date and a factual description of what was agreed and what you are questioning. Include the relevant report or image rather than an entire unrelated correspondence history. We remain the contact point for booking discussions and feedback, while the named provider’s service responsibilities remain as described in the agreement. Ask which action is proposed and who will respond. A complaint about the work and a privacy request can be raised separately without losing either issue.
Using website materials and external information
Text, photographs and branding belong to their owners or are used under permission. You may read the pages and retain relevant booking information for personal use. Commercial reuse of website materials or use suggesting endorsement requires the appropriate permission. Do not introduce harmful software, attempt unauthorised system access or interfere with other visitors’ use of the website. Report a website problem through the published contact instead of trying to access restricted functions.
External links supply useful context, but their owners control their content and services. Read their current instructions where a council process or other external service is relevant. Personal information associated with our enquiries is explained in the privacy policy. Nothing here removes consumer protections or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Keep the version of the provider terms accepted for your booking; a later website update does not silently replace that recorded agreement.
Questions about terms and conditions
When is my service booking accepted?
Acceptance takes place through the provider terms and booking confirmation process supplied by email. Check the named provider, scope and appointment before giving that acceptance.
Who carries out the work?
The provider identified in the booking confirmation carries out the contracted service. Pest Xterminators remains a contact point for the booking discussion and feedback.
What if preparation or access changes?
Contact the booking point promptly with the specific change. Ask whether the appointment or agreed scope must be revised before relying on attendance.
